At the start of this job I was a timid sales girl, afraid to ask for the sale. After a short training period, I was on the top of my game, with high closing ratios and great numbers. Although it was only a seasonal job, they asked me to stay through the summer at their sister store, Madeleine's Daughter. I was the only person from the original sales team asked back for a second season.
The second year, I started doing more than just selling dresses. I trained the new consultants and learned about selling tuxedos. Before the major selling period was underway, I started a blog and Facebook for the store. The blog included fun and informational videos to promote the store. We promoted the blog through Facebook and used check-in deals to generate a more social aspect to prom shopping.
For the next 3 years I continued working seasonally at Soiree and Madeleine's, gaining another promotion at Madeleine's during my second year.
